Satya, QLD Mentor
Satya has a severe hearing loss in her left ear and a profound hearing loss in her right ear. She was diagnosed at two and a half years old when she received her first pair of hearing aids. Satya was often one of the few deaf students attending a mainstream school. Art was one of her favourite subjects at school and is something that she enjoys doing in her spare time. Satya is a full-time student at the University of the Sunshine Coast studying Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology).
