FAQs

Why should I come?

We would love to connect/reconnect with families who have attended Hear For You or The Shepherd Centre in the past.

It is not very often, if at all, that parents get to meet others in a similar situation and share experiences about what they’ve been through, what they’re doing now or basically just to connect with others who get it!

There is always value in networking and connecting with others because you never know what new opportunities may occur as a result.

Is there a cost to attend?

None at all! Just your own coffee or snack

Are there requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

You just need to be a parent/guardian/carer of a deaf/hard of hearing child/teenager

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Driving:

  • parking onsite

What can/can’t I bring to the event?

You don’t have to bring anything. Or maybe just a smile?

If you have a friend who is also deaf or has hearing loss, bring them along! Just make sure you register them so we have actual numbers 🙂

Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?

Feel free to email sherri.brereton@shepherdcentre.org.au with any questions at any time

Can I update my registration information?
